For one glorious weekend this autumn, Tonbridge Racecourse will swap its usual scenery for something straight out of Munich. Oktoberfest is back, bringing with it brimming steins of beer, sizzling bratwursts, and the unmistakable sound of an oompah band in full swing.
On Friday 17 and Saturday 18 October 2025, the big tent will open its doors from 6pm until 11pm, welcoming anyone over 18 to raise a glass and join in the fun (just make sure you’re inside by 8pm). There’s also a Saturday afternoon session. Expect the tables to shake with the clinking of glasses, the air to smell of freshly grilled sausages, and the crowd to be dressed in everything from full lederhosen to just a cheeky Bavarian hat.

Early bird tickets have already sold out, but standard release tickets a are available through Skiddle, the event’s official ticketing partner. Prices vary depending on the session, so it’s worth booking sooner rather than later to secure your spot.
Oktoberfest might be a German tradition dating back to 1810, but in Tonbridge it’s all about blending that Bavarian party spirit with a Kentish welcome. So dust off your dirndl, practice your “Prost!”, and get ready for a weekend where the beer flows freely and the music keeps everyone swaying long into the evening.
