Residents across Tonbridge, Edenbridge and the North Downs are being asked to share their views in a new community survey launched by local MP Tom Tugendhat.
The online survey, which takes just a few minutes to complete, invites people to set out their top priorities for the area. Options include transport, leisure facilities, green spaces and other local services. Respondents are also asked about wider national issues, such as the economy and border security, and given the chance to share comments in more detail.
The survey form also asks for basic personal details and gives residents the choice of whether they wish to receive further updates from Mr Tugendhat or the Conservative Party. Participants are asked to indicate how likely they are to support different political parties at the next election.
Mr Tugendhat said the aim of the survey is to ensure that local concerns shape future campaigning:
“I am determined to make sure our community remains a great place to live and we have better services and value for money.
To do that I need your views and what you think of our priorities. That’s why I’d be grateful if you could take 5 minutes of your time to let me know what matters to you.”
The results will be used to highlight issues raised by residents and to guide future campaigns.
