TONBRIDGE—Local residents looking to beat the colder weather and get a jump start on their fitness goals are in luck, as the Angel Centre has launched its annual three-month membership promotion.

The operator, tmactive, is offering a Three-Month Unlimited Membership for a one-off fee of just £120. This offer has proven popular in previous years and provides a cost-effective way for locals to use the full range of facilities without a long-term commitment.

The special membership is on sale now until 31 October.

What the Membership Includes

The £120 fee covers unlimited use across all key areas for three months, giving members a complete fitness and wellness package:

  • Swim: Use of the pools, including the Outdoor Pool, which is currently open all year round.
  • Group EX: Choice from over 75 instructor-led classes weekly, including spinning.
  • Spa: Access to the relaxing spa sessions designed to help you recharge.

Added Value and Support

The membership also includes several extras to ensure new members get the most out of their three months:

This flexible deal is often used by residents to stay active through the autumn and winter months without the higher cost or lengthy commitment of an annual package.

Tonbridge is moving forward with plans for a new £19 million Angel Centre, intended to replace the town’s current ageing leisure facility. The replacement centre, which is being driven by Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council, is planned to be built on the site of the Sovereign Way Mid car park and is currently projected for completion in 2028. Public consultation has shaped the initial proposals, confirming strong local support for new features such as a soft play area and a dedicated wellness zone, alongside modern necessities like an expanded gym, all housed within a new, energy-efficient building designed to dramatically reduce carbon emissions. Detailed designs are now being developed ahead of a planning application submission.
