The Wetherspoon pub Humphrey Bean in Tonbridge has revealed its festive schedule for the upcoming holiday season, confirming to locals that it will indeed open its doors on Christmas Day.
According to the official “Christmas opening times” signage displayed at the venue, those hoping for a sneaky festive pint or a brief escape from turkey duties on December 25th will have a limited window to do so.
The pub is scheduled to open on Christmas Day (Thursday) at 11:00 AM and will close just three hours later at 2:00 PM.
This short shift is a significant change of pace from the surrounding festive dates. The sign indicates that on Christmas Eve, the pub will remain open until 2:00 AM, and will return to a 1:00 AM closing time on Boxing Day.
