Today’s Clue: A Rainbow of Colour
Part 1: Walk along the High Street, keeping the taps of Fuggles and The Ivy House on your right. Just after the Bordyke crossing, two blue memories cling to the wall — read them both. Only one honours a woman; her given name is your first answer.
Part 2: Carefully cross the road towards Tonbridge School and work your way back down towards the High Street. Not far from the school a building bears the name of a grey-scaled fish. Do not trust its name — the truth lies in the colour of its door.
Your answer is the name and then the colour of the door.

Below you can find a reminder of all the details for the Tonbridge Bean Christmas Treasure Hunt.
When will the Tonbridge Bean Christmas Treasure Hunt be taking place?
The Treasure Hunt kicks off on 13 December. Each day from 13–24 December 2025, you’ll have the chance to win a fantastic prize.
How can you win a prize?
It’s all quite simple really.
Each day, we’ll publish a set of clues on the Tonbridge Bean website.
These clues will lead you to locations around Tonbridge – find the locations, solve the clues, and you’re in with a chance of winning.
To be in with a chance of winning, you need to email us the correct answer at tonbridgebean@gmail.com before midnight. Please put ‘Christmas Treasure Hunt’ and todays date in the subject heading and include your name in your entry.
We will not be able to accept any entries on social media or any entries received the following day. A winner for the day will be selected at random from the correct entries.
There’s no need to start digging – there is no physical treasure to find. It’s all about spotting the details that are already there and using logic to solve the puzzle.
If you win, we’ll get in touch to confirm your prize and let you know how to claim it.
All prizes are subject to Terms & Conditions (see below).
Amazing daily prizes
Every day there are brilliant prizes to be won, all kindly donated by local businesses. And honestly, the prizes really are brilliant!
Taking part is a fun way to get out and explore Tonbridge and support the local high street at the same time.
