Since launching the Tonbridge Bean in April this year, we have had a fantastic time covering the stories and events that shape the town we love. It has been a busy and rewarding few months, and as the year draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to thank our readers for their support and for making this project such a pleasure to work on.
Reflections on the Treasure Hunt
The recent Tonbridge Bean Treasure Hunt surpassed all our expectations. Knowing families and friends were exploring our town with such enthusiasm was the perfect lead-up to the holiday season.
We have been deeply moved by the emails and messages we’ve received. To the business owners who opened their doors and the participants who shared their success stories: thank you for emailing us to tell us how much you enjoyed taking part. Your overwhelmingly positive feedback reminds us why local community matters so much. We are already looking at the calendar for next year, fueled by your encouragement to bring the Treasure Hunt back even bigger and better!
And we will publish the answers to all the clues in the next few days so you can check your answers.
Looking Forward to 2026
While we take a moment to enjoy the festivities, we are also brimming with excitement for what the New Year holds. Tonbridge is a town that never stands still, and we look forward to continuing to document its growth, its challenges, and its triumphs alongside all of you.
As you gather with loved ones, share a meal, or perhaps take a crisp Christmas walk past the Castle, we wish you a season filled with warmth and happiness. Thank you for welcoming the Tonbridge Bean into your lives this year.
