The highly anticipated arrival of The Never Say Never at the old Hilden Manor site has a new date on the calendar. Originally slated to open its doors in December, the team behind the transformation has announced that the grand opening party will now take place on Friday, 30th January 2026 from 3pm – 11pm.

    Perfection Takes Time

In a recent update, the team explained that the decision to push the opening back from its original December target was driven by a commitment to quality. Their message to the community emphasized that “getting everything absolutely perfect is at the heart of what we do.”

Rather than rushing to meet the festive deadline, the owners have opted to take the extra time to ensure the refurbishment meets the high standards expected of an Elite Pub venue. The goal is to “share the magic” they have been creating behind the scenes and welcome residents to celebrate the start of 2026 in a brand-new setting.

    Festive Alternatives and Bookings

While the doors to the Hilden Manor site remain closed for a few more weeks, the group is steering festive revellers toward their nearby “sister pubs” for Christmas and New Year celebrations. Both The Poacher & Partridge in Tudeley and The Pheasant Plucker in Ide Hill are currently hosting holiday get-togethers.

For those looking ahead to the January launch at the London Road site (TN10 3AN), enquiries and bookings can be made via:

The local community is encouraged to keep an eye out for further “sneak peeks” as the final countdown to the January 30th celebration begins.
