Summer in Tonbridge wouldn’t be complete without the return of the much-loved Band Concerts at Tonbridge Castle – and the 2026 season gets underway this Sunday, 28th June.
Taking place on the beautiful Bailey Lawn, these free Sunday afternoon concerts are a fantastic way to spend a few hours with family and friends while supporting talented local bands. Whether you’re a fan of brass bands, concert bands, jazz or simply enjoy live music in the sunshine, there’s something for everyone.
Pack a picnic blanket or folding chairs, bring along some drinks and snacks, and settle in for an afternoon of music against the backdrop of one of Tonbridge’s most iconic landmarks. The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed, making it one of the highlights of the town’s summer calendar.
