A monumental piece of our town’s sporting history is set to unfold this summer, and the whole community is invited to be a part of it. Tonbridge Cricket Club is marking an incredible 225 years of cricket in Tonbridge with a blockbuster anniversary match against the Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA) England Legends, bringing a star-studded squad of former international cricketers right to our doorstep.
The match takes place on Friday 24 July at Tonbridge Cricket Club, located on Welland Road, Tonbridge (TN10 3TD). Gates will officially open at 11:30 am ahead of the main match showcase at 3:30 pm.
In fantastic news for local sports fans and families, general admission to the ground is completely free. However, to help the club manage attendance numbers safely, everyone planning to attend must secure a free ticket in advance via Eventbrite.
A Historic Day Out for the Whole Town
225 years of local cricket is a magnificent milestone. The club is pulling out all the stops to make this an unforgettable community day, with event timings running from 11:00 am right through to 8:00 pm.
