Regular visitors to Tonbridge High Street will have noticed a flurry of activity around the local Starbucks branch recently. Fresh branding and new signage have appeared on the shopfront, while internal updates are underway with new furniture being installed.
We have previously commented on how the store was looking distinctly tired and in need of attention, so it comes as a welcome relief to see these long-overdue improvements finally taking place to revive the central location.
Open for Takeaway Throughout Refurbishment
Coffee lovers need not worry about missing out on their daily fix during the transformation. While indoor seating areas and main customer spaces undergo refurbishment, the branch remains operational for takeaway orders.
Enhanced Outdoor Seating on the Horizon?
Alongside the physical updates to the shopfront and interior, steps are being taken to secure a pavement licence for outdoor seating during opening hours. While full details of the final layout remain to be seen, this step strongly suggests that customers can look forward to a much-improved outdoor seating arrangement along the High Street pavement in the near future.
