Looking to try something new this summer? Tonbridge Canoe Club is inviting beginners to take to the water with their popular beginner canoe courses running throughout July and August.

Held every Saturday morning from 10 am to 12 noon, these sessions are the perfect way to learn the basics of canoeing in a safe and scenic setting along the River Medway, right in the heart of Tonbridge. Whether you’re after a fun way to stay active or a chance to enjoy the town’s beautiful waterways, the club’s beginner courses offer an ideal starting point.

The sessions are led by Paddle UK qualified coaches and are open to anyone aged 12 and over. No prior experience is necessary, but places are limited, and pre-booking is essential to secure a spot.

The club, which has been a fixture in the local community for years, is well-regarded for its friendly atmosphere and dedication to water safety. With the historic Tonbridge Castle providing a picturesque backdrop, paddlers can enjoy both a peaceful and enriching experience on the water.
