March 2026 marks a brand-new addition to Tonbridge’s cultural calendar, as the inaugural Tonbridge Comedy Festival arrives in town, promising a full weekend of laughter, big names, and brilliant emerging talent.

Taking place from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th March, the festival will be hosted in the atmospheric downstairs vault of The Market House on Tonbridge High Street. Across three packed days, audiences can expect non-stop comedy from performers travelling in from across the country.

The programme offers something for everyone, with a wide mix of comedy styles – from sharp stand-up and character comedy to performers familiar from TV and panel shows. Families are also well catered for, with the hugely popular Comedy Club 4 Kids bringing their acclaimed, family-friendly show to the festival on Saturday.
