Tonbridge is buzzing this February with events, activities and new places to explore. Whether you’re into food, art, theatre, fitness or just discovering local gems, there’s something for everyone this month. Here’s your curated list of things to do right here in our town — with dates so you can plan ahead!
1/ Visit Bridge Deli

In case anyone has been asleep under a rock, Tonbridge’s brand new Bridge Deli opened just before Christmas. If you haven’t been in yet to browse their fantastic gourmet delicacies, fresh sandwiches, pastry and coffee (made in Tunbridge Wells), then consider this your kick up the bum!
I visited recently and bought some Yok Chan chilli sauce, that I have been eating every day since. Find it at 119a on the High Street.
2/ Modern Relics Art Exhibition
Explore the Modern Relics art exhibition by Matthew Lintott at Tonbridge School, part of the vibrant arts season running through to 8th March 2026 — a must-see if you love contemporary work. Details here.
3/ Tom Carradine’s Cockney Singalong
Laugh and sing along with Tom Carradine’s musical set on Saturday 7th February 2026 at the EM Forster Theatre. We watched him perform at the River Walk music event last summer and enjoyed it immensely. Details and tickets here.
4/ Tonbridge Comedy Night
Get ready for laughs with Tonbridge Comedy Night (EMF Theatre) on Friday 13th February 2026 — always a sell-out, so book soon! And if you’ve missed tickets for the event this month, consider this your notice to book for March.
5/ Showstopper The Musical
Experience a night of spontaneous theatre with Showstopper! on Thursday 26th & Friday 27th February 2026. Details and tickets here.
6/ A Mirror (Theatre Production)
Don’t miss A Mirror, set to be a gripping and clever play running from Saturday 7th to Saturday 14th February 2026 at the Oast Theatre. Details and tickets here.
7/ Join a winter paddle board social
While dates vary, local water sports groups often organise winter paddle board socials at places like Bewl Water or in local pools — perfect for trying something active and outdoors. Local companies include Epic Life and Paddle with Ana.
8/ Try the new pub ‘The Never Say Never’
The newest pub in Tonbridge, the “Never Say Never” is now open – and conveniently located next to The Oast Theatre. Pop in to sample food, drinks and vibes at Tonbridge’s latest pub addition — a great post-event hangout or cosy winter drink spot.
9/ Join a book club

Winter is the perfect time to join a book club. There are lots of them locally in Tonbridge – like the Silent Book Club held regularly at the Nelson’s Arms. There’s also a U3A book club (details here) and one for women, run by the Kent Girls group. Just to name a few.
10/ Park Run
Start your weekend strong with the free Parkrun every Saturday morning — walkers, runners and families all welcome. Although the park is a little flooded at time of writing, the run did go ahead last week, so fingers crossed for the next few weeks.
11/ Pub Quiz
We always love our pub quizzes, especially in the winter. Every Thursday is the Man of Kent pub quiz. Otherwise, you can find the Wetherspoons pub quiz on the second Wednesday of the month (11th Feb) and the Fuggles quiz on the last Tuesday (24th Feb). More info on our local pub quizzes in Tonbridge can be found here.
12/ Celebrate Valentines Day
If you are in a relationship and you celebrate Valentines Day, hopefully you haven’t missed out on the fact that it is this month on the 14th February. If you want to head out on Valentines Day, there are some great options. For example, Jazz Dinner at the Market House, or Valentines Day Afternoon Tea at Hever Castle. Or, if you want to stay in – why not grab some treats from the Bridge Deli?
13/ Head out on a winter walk

We are so lucky to have lots of winter walks in and around Tonbridge. Our favourites at this time of year are the loop to Tudeley (details here), or walking to Penshurst (details here).
If you want to get a bit social, why not join the Walk Tonbridge group walk on 22nd February? Details here.
14/ Grab a cosy pint
Nothing beats a cosy winter pint. Head to Fuggles in town where you can find a stack of boardgames, or the fantastic Nelson Arms. These pubs really come into their own in winter.
15/ Live Jazz in Tonbridge Vault
The Market House now holds events in their downstairs vault area – last month it was an Open Mic event. This month, you can find live jazz – and it’s scheduled for Valentines Day. Sounds super romantic! Details here.
16/ Relax at a yoga class
It doesn’t matter if you missed out on January resolutions, February is still a great time to start a new yoga class. Look out for classes with Candice (including her fantastic monthly retreat sessions), Mica (classes in central Tonbridge on Wednesday evenings) and Two Wandering Yogis (a few classes a week including Saturdays.)
17/ Watch wrestling
Catch family-friendly wrestling action at the Angel Centre on the 8th February. Bound to be a thrilling afternoon. Details here.
18/ TJ’s Beer Festival
The Tonbridge Juddian’s Beer Festival is always a popular event – find it from Friday 6th to Saturday the 7th February. They’re also promising to show the Six Nation’s on the big screen. Details can be found here.
19/ See the First Signs of Spring at Hever Castle
Even in February, Hever Castle’s gardens are waking up! From 11th–28th February 2026, wander among thousands of snowdrops, crocuses, hellebores and early daffodils, and follow the self-guided spring trail through the historic grounds. It’s a peaceful winter stroll with plenty of photo opportunities — perfect for nature lovers, couples, or a family day out. Details can be found here.
20/ Buy your tickets to Tonbridge comedy festival (March)
Ok, not officially an event. But we just wanted to remind that you that Tonbridge Comedy Festival (the very first one) takes place in March. If you haven’t booked your tickets yet – now’s the time.
