‘Brilliance in the Room’ Opening Night (Saturday 20th June)

The main house at our beloved local Oast Theatre is launching a full-scale, stunning period costume extravaganza to capture your imagination. Written and directed by Phil Porter, Brilliance in the Room features a captivating script, incredible special effects, original live music, and a cast of highly memorable characters trying to battle the strange quirks of fate. Opening on Saturday night, it runs through the following week and makes for a perfect local culture night.

International Yoga Day: Open Air Yoga (Sunday 21st June)

Celebrate International Yoga Day by finding your zen right in the heart of town. Back by popular demand after last year’s fantastic turnout, you can take part in a morning of open-air yoga and mindfulness directly on the historic castle lawn. Roll out your mat for a fully immersive session featuring a blend of calming meditation and rejuvenating yoga flows. The event is completely free to attend, but you do need to register online to secure a place.

Tonbridge Parkrun (Saturday 20th June)

The absolute core of the weekend routine returns. Lace up your trainers and join hundreds of fellow locals for the weekly, timed 5km loop. Just remember your barcode!

Tri-Swim Open Water Swimming (Friday 19th June)

The midsummer sun makes a dip in the lake sound better than ever. Managed safely by the Tri-Swim team, the evening open-water swimming sessions at Haysden Country Park are fully underway. Whether you are looking to train hard for an upcoming triathlon or simply want a refreshing, safe, and fully supervised wild swim to completely wash away the stresses of the working week, grab your gear and head down.


Food, Drink & Father’s Day

Father’s Day Celebrations (Sunday 21st June)

If you are looking to treat Dad over the Father’s Day weekend, there are plenty of fantastic options happening just on our doorstep. For a thoroughly nostalgic trip back in time, head just down the road to nearby Hever Castle for their spectacular Hever’s Home Front weekend. Expect an incredible display of vintage vehicles, live swing music, traditional stalls, and thrilling wartime re-enactments. Alternatively, you can head over to Balfour Winery for a special Father’s Day lunch experience, or simply keep it local and treat him to a spectacular cup of coffee and a pastry at one of our excellent independent High Street cafés.

English Wine Week Launch (Saturday 20th – Sunday 21st June)

This weekend marks the official launch of English Wine Week, and living in the heart of Kent means we are perfectly positioned to celebrate. It is the ultimate excuse to skip the supermarket aisles and take a short drive out to explore our incredible local vineyards—such as nearby Balfour Winery—for exclusive tastings.
