The countdown is on for the return of the much-loved River Walk Music Festival, with the first of eight free Friday evening concerts taking place this Friday, 10 July.
Running every Friday throughout the summer from 6pm to 10pm, the riverside festival has become one of Tonbridge’s favourite ways to spend a summer evening. Visitors can enjoy live music in a relaxed setting, with a bar on site and refreshments available, including an ice cream van or food stall on most evenings.

Bring a chair, gather friends by the stage, or spread out a picnic blanket on the opposite riverbank and soak up the atmosphere. Entry is free, although donations are warmly welcomed to help keep the festival running.
Each evening begins with DJs from 6pm, followed by support acts from 6.30pm before the headline performance.
This year’s headline line-up is:
- 10 July – The Heartbeats
- 17 July – Amy Winehouse Tribute & Cerion Cole
- 24 July – The Sixties Sound
- 31 July – Wasted
- 7 August – The Beard Conspiracy
- 14 August – The Patinas
- 21 August – Gem
- 28 August – Loose Change

Whether you’re a regular or discovering the festival for the first time, River Walk Music Festival promises great music, a fantastic atmosphere and the perfect way to enjoy a summer Friday evening in Tonbridge.
