Following six weeks of construction, the upgraded attraction is now fully open to the public, offering residents and visitors an entertaining new way to engage with the area’s rich heritage.
Play Through Iconic Landmarks
Designed specifically around Tonbridge’s geography and history, the revitalized course features custom obstacles modeled after key local landmarks. Golfers of all ages can putt their way through mini versions of Tonbridge Castle, cross the Big Bridge, navigate past St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church, and dodge hazards around the historic Priory Ruins.
Part of a Wider Park Investment
The mini golf overhaul is the latest in a series of major improvements to the Sportsground, widely known locally as the Racecourse. The surrounding park area has recently seen significant upgrades to its tennis courts and outdoor gym equipment, reflecting an ongoing effort to keep the space a vibrant, modern hub for outdoor recreation.
