Tonbridge River Walk Festival Tonbridge River Walk Friday, July 18th, 2025, 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM River Walk, one of Tonbridge’s most popular and lively events, kicks off its fifth year this Friday!

Enjoy live music by the river with great company, delicious food, and refreshing drinks. Stalls open at 6:00 PM, a Radio DJ sets the mood from 6:30 PM, and live music (featuring Tom Carradine this week) takes centre stage from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Sausage and Cider Festival Eridge Deer Park Estate, near Tunbridge Wells Saturday, July 19th, 2025, from 2:00 PM Further afield, but worth the trip for a day of fantastic festival fun!

The Sausage and Cider Festival returns with over 30 cider flavours, 20 sausage flavours, and an incredible lineup of live music from tribute bands including Reef, One Night in Nashville, and special guests Barrioke (Shaun Williamson’s karaoke extravaganza). There will also be a trader village, axe throwing, and a circus workshop. Tickets are still available here.

Summer Band Concerts at the Castle: West Kent Concert Band Tonbridge Castle Sunday, July 20th, 2025, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

A vibrant outdoor scene at Tonbridge Castle, featuring a large crowd gathered on the green grass amidst lush trees, enjoying a summer event. A stage is set up for performances, and people are seated on blankets and chairs, soaking in the sun and the festive atmosphere.

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon of live music on the Bailey Lawn of Tonbridge Castle. This week, the West Kent Concert Band will be performing a varied programme. This is a free event, so bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the vibe! More details here.

Penshurst Place Summer Falconry Shows Penshurst Place Saturday, July 19th, 2025 (Show times: 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM & 4:00 PM) Enjoy the aerial acrobatics of some amazing birds of prey as the Kent Falconry Centre joins Penshurst Place for their Summer Holiday Falconry Shows.

Roundel Poetry Saturday Meet Up The Old Fire Station, Tonbridge Saturday, July 19th, 2025, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Join Roundel, Tonbridge’s creative poetry group, for an informal session of writing, developing skills, and sharing poetry.

Death of a Salesman The Oast Theatre, Tonbridge Saturday, July 19th, 2025 20:00 and 15:00 on Sunday July 20th. The Oast Theatre presents Arthur Miller’s Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece, “Death of a Salesman.”

Directed by Sandra Barfield, this iconic American drama promises a poignant exploration of ambition, disillusionment, and the pursuit of the American Dream. Tickets are still available for this weekend.

Outdoor Theatre at Tonbridge Castle: The Wind in the Willows Tonbridge Castle Sunday, July 20th, 2025, 6:00 PM – 7:40 PM. Perfect for families and little ones, this lively adaptation of the beloved children’s classic brings Toad, Mole, Ratty and Badger to life with songs, silliness, and plenty of audience interaction. A fun afternoon guaranteed for all ages (under 3s go free). The showing lasts 100 minutes, including interval, so you can expect to finish up at 19:40. Tickets here.
