The new school term may be here and there’s a September chill in the air, but the weekend fun doesn’t stop! This Friday to Sunday, Tonbridge and the surrounding area are packed with food festivals, music, and community events, including the final River Walk music night of the summer. Here’s our curated guide to the best events happening this weekend.

Festivals & Celebrations

Tonbridge River Walk Festival: Don’t miss the grand finale of this popular summer series! Join the community for the last evening of live music by the river, with the band GEM taking the stage to see the season out in style. Tonbridge Food and Drink Festival: Indulge your taste buds at this popular festival. With over 70 local producers, live cooking demonstrations from popular local chefs, and a fantastic street food café, it’s a delicious day out for all the family. Tonbridge Lions’ Dragon Boat Race: Witness the thrilling spectacle of the Dragon Boat Race as teams battle it out on the river, all while raising funds for local charities. Theatre & Music

A Celebration of Foo Fighters: Rock out at The Forum as the Faux Fighters, a premier tribute band, celebrate 30 years of the iconic American rock band. Expect a night of high-energy music and all the hits. When: Friday, 5th September, 7:30 PM Where: The Forum, Tunbridge Wells. Full details here.

Health & Wellness

Parkrun: Join this free, weekly 5k run, jog, or walk open to all ages and abilities. It’s a great way to start the weekend, get active, and meet people. When: Saturday, 6th September, 9:00 AM Where: Racecourse Park, Tonbridge (TN9 1HR)

Walk Tonbridge Festival: Lace up your walking boots for a festival of guided walks, from short, gentle strolls to longer, more challenging hikes. Discover the local area, including historical routes and poetry-themed walks. Family Fun
