Tonbridge is getting ready to welcome back one of the town’s most popular foodie events, with the Tonbridge Food & Drink Festival returning to the Racecourse Sportsground on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September 2026.
The free-entry festival will run from 11am to 6pm across both days, giving food and drink lovers another chance to enjoy the tastes, sights and sounds of this much-loved event.
A second festival for Tonbridge in 2026
September’s event follows the May Food & Drink Festival, meaning Tonbridge is being treated to a second helping of its popular foodie spectacular this year.
The May event proved a big draw, with visitors heading to the town to browse artisan food and drink stalls, enjoy street food and take in cooking demonstrations.
Now the festival is back for its 14th foodie spectacular, and organisers are expecting more than 15,000 visitors over the two days.
More than 70 stalls
There will be plenty to tempt visitors, with more than 70 stallholders offering food and drink produced in and around Kent, alongside flavours from across the globe.
Visitors can try, taste and buy everything from local produce to international treats, while the Street Food Café will provide a chance to sit down and enjoy hot food from around the world.
There’s a particularly tasty offer for anyone looking to sample something new, with all dishes in the Street Food Café area priced at £9 or under.
Cooking, family fun and Dragon Boats
As well as the food and drink, the festival promises a programme of entertainment for all ages.
Cooking demonstrations will feature popular local chefs, food producers and local food writers, giving visitors the opportunity to pick up some inspiration as well as enjoy plenty of samples.
And for those heading along on Sunday, the ever-popular Dragon Boats will also be making an appearance on the river. A fantastic combination!
With the combination of local producers, international flavours, live demonstrations and family entertainment, the September festival looks set to provide another busy weekend in Tonbridge.
